Washington, DC — Tonight, former President Donald Trump teased an announcement that he’s going to run for President in 2024. For four years, Democratic AGs were the biggest check on an unlawful Trump administration, holding his administration accountable to the rule of law – with an over 80% success rate.

The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement after Trump’s announcement.

“Donald Trump is a danger to this country, and just now in Ohio, he name-checked several GOP Attorney General candidates he wants to see win this year. Murders were up on his watch, and so were hate crimes – Americans must get out and vote for Democratic AGs across the country tomorrow to keep us safe from Trump and his extreme allies.”
