DAGA Proud to Support Jen Jordan in Georgia

October 6, 2022

Washington, DC — The Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement today on the Georgia Attorney General race. DAGA has proudly endorsed State Senator Jen Jordan and worked closely with her since her primary win earlier this year.

DAGA President Sean Rankin released the following statement:

“We’re proud to be working closely with Senator Jordan’s campaign to win this fall, and we have shifted our investment from the independent side into the Democratic Party of Georgia. Investing in the state party will stretch our dollars, align us with other committees, and act as a force multiplier, increasing our odds to bring Jen Jordan home with other Democrats.

“Chris Carr hasn’t kept Georgians safe, including being far too slow to respond to Georgia’s gang crime wave. Carr is a leading architect of Georgia’s abortion ban and is trampling Georgia women’s constitutional rights. He even admitted that he’s now able to prosecute providers for providing reproductive care – and the law is clear that he can also prosecute pregnant women, too. We will defeat Chris Carr this fall and elect State Senator Jen Jordan, a pro-public safety and pro-reproductive rights champion as Georgia’s next Attorney General.”
