Washington, DC — Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association announced the endorsement of Georgia State Senator Jen Jordan to be the next Attorney General of Georgia.

Statement from DAGA Co-Chairs Nevada AG Aaron Ford and Delaware AG Kathy Jennings:“Today, DAGA enthusiastically endorses Georgia State Senator Jen Jordan to be the next Attorney General of Georgia. She will be the ‘People’s Lawyer’ for Georgia – keeping our communities and neighborhoods safe, protecting Georgia’s consumers and seniors from those who would try to defraud them, and fighting to protect Georgia’s air, water, and natural resources.

“From defending voting rights to making sure the criminal justice system is effective and fair for all Georgians — she’ll work tirelessly to use the law and her office as a powerful tool for justice. As a State Senator, Jen has never shied away from a fight to protect the rights of all Georgians, and as Attorney General, she’s going to be the ‘People’s Lawyer’ for all Georgians.”

Statement from Georgia State Senator Jen Jordan:“Across the country, Democratic Attorneys General are fighting on the frontlines to defend our democracy and safeguard our fundamental rights. In Georgia, I’ve fought many of these battles in the State Senate to protect our elections, ensure access to clean air and water, and keep our communities safe. I’m honored to join DAGA’s coalition, and I look forward to continuing to fight for the people of this state as Georgia’s next Attorney General.”
