DAGA Slams Trump, Extremist AG Candidates Before Western State Visits

October 7, 2022

Washington, DC — Donald Trump is taking his extremist, dangerous brand of politics to Nevada and Arizona this weekend. He lost both of these states in 2020 thanks to attacks on health care access, workers, and American democracy.

In Arizona, Trump endorsed Abe Hamadeh, a deeply flawed candidate whose legal troubles include getting sued by his own fatherArizona veterans wondering why he’s being investigated by the U.S. Army Reserve, and lying to voters about his complete lack of legal experience. Now Arizona Republicans are denouncing Hamadeh and crossing party lines to vote for the Democratic nominee – just like they did in 2020.

In Nevada, Sigal Chattah’s behavior has been unhinged for months – making her a perfect person to help welcome the former President to Nevada. Not only did she say that Nevada AG Aaron Ford should be hanging from a “f——- crane”, she has also never prosecuted a case and doesn’t understand how the Nevada AG’s office works, and she wants to imprison women who get abortions.

Statement from Geoff Burgan, DAGA’s Communications Director:

“Both Arizona and Nevada rejected Donald Trump and his brand of politics in 2020, and this weekend’s visits are going to be a massive weight dragging down the Republican AG candidates in both states. These Trump trips are a disaster for Abe Hamadeh and Sigal Chattah, who both want to prosecute abortion if elected AG.”
