Democratic Attorneys General Association Congratulates Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh on His Service

October 21, 2021

Washington, DC – Earlier today the State of Maryland’s Attorney General Brian Frosh announced his decision not to seek re-election for a third term.

Sean Rankin, Executive Director of the Democratic Attorneys General Association, released the following statement:

“DAGA congratulates Attorney General Frosh for his extraordinary service as Maryland’s Attorney General. He has been a tireless crusader safeguarding Maryland’s consumers from predatory business practices, and he’s fought relentlessly to defend Maryland’s natural environment from pollution and degradation. His work to protect domestic violence victims, crack down on gun safety loopholes, and fight for immigrants’ rights is a testament to his commitment to protect those who need a voice and a lawyer on their side. We also recognize him for pushing back on the excesses of a president who failed to understand the rule of law. We thank AG Frosh for his service to the people of Maryland and the country.”
