In August, President Barack Obama endorsed Democratic AG candidates Phil Weiser in Colorado, Steve Dettelbach in Ohio, and Kwame Raoul in Illinois.

Washington, D.C. – Yesterday, former President Barack Obama announced his second wave of Democratic candidate endorsements including Democratic Attorney General candidates January Contreras in Arizona and Aaron Ford in Nevada. Both candidates were also previously endorsed by The Democratic Attorneys General Association.

President Obama tweeted, “Today, I’m proud to endorse even more Democratic candidates who aren’t just running against something, but for something—to expand opportunity for all of us and to restore dignity, honor, and compassion to public service. They deserve your vote”

These latest endorsements follow an earlier round of endorsements from President Obama that included Democratic Attorney General candidates Phil Weiser in Colorado, Steve Dettelbach in Ohio, and Kwame Raoul in Illinois. They also follow endorsements in key AG races from Democratic leaders like Senator Kamala Harris and Vice President Joe Biden.

Just like President Obama, Senator Harris, and Vice President Biden, we are confident that these candidates (and others) deserve your vote in November!

Newly-Endorsed candidates include:
