Graybill Provides Leadership on Affordable Health Care & Access to Public Lands, Key Issues for Montana Voters

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, the Democratic Attorneys General Association (DAGA) released the following statement from DAGA Deputy Political Director Amanda Trump on Raph Graybill’s clear victory over Austin Knudsen in the Montana Attorney General debate.

Statement from Amanda Trump, Deputy Political Director of the Democratic Attorneys General Association:

“Raph Graybill demonstrated he is a leader Montanans can trust to protect Montana families. He laid out a clear vision for the Montana Office of Attorney General and put forth plans that defend health care for Montanans with pre-existing conditions, protect access to public lands, and stand with Montana workers.”

“Voters also got a first-hand look at the dismissive attitude of Austin Knudsen, who claimed Montanans don’t care about kitchen table issues like access to affordable health care or rising prescription drug prices. Knudsen is out of touch with Montana values and his extreme beliefs make him out of step with his own party. Knudsen even failed to explain his dangerous record on public lands including blocking a veterans’ park near his family property in Culbertson and voting against funding for Habitat Montana.”

“The debate made the contrast for voters even more stark. While extremist Austin Knudsen will sell Montana to the highest bidder, Raph Graybill will fight for Montana values and Montana families.”
