Intro

Tanya Miller is the Democratic nominee for Attorney General of Georgia.

Early Life and Education

Tanya Miller was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was raised by her mother, a proud union worker.

Tanya earned her undergraduate and law degrees from Case Western Reserve University before beginning her legal career.

Career Highlights

Tanya says her career has been “defined by one core principle: the law should serve people, not political interests.”

With that philosophy, she served as a federal prosecutor and later as a supervising attorney in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where she was an undefeated homicide prosecutor.

Tanya was elected to serve in the Georgia House of Representatives in 2022 and was elected Democratic Caucus Chair by her colleagues after just one term.

Attorney General Priorities

Tanya’s priorities as Attorney General will be public safety and ensuring the law is enforced, defending Georgia’s laws and Constitution, and protecting consumers from corporate bad actors.

Tanya believes “the law should be a shield that protects Georgia’s families and a tool that creates opportunity for everyone.”

Personal Life

Tanya is a dog lover with two at home: a Cane Corso named Moses and a French Bulldog named Demetri.
